As a proud Geordie girl, I set myself a personal project to create some lettering that brought to life a few much loved regional sayings. I wanted to limit the colour palette to the famous black and white colours synonymous with Newcastle itself. This is an ongoing personal project that I will continue over the year. Ultimately I intend to make fine art screen prints and enamel pin badges of the work, using completely local tradespeople to keep this a truly northern pride project.
